In the context of a constantly changing society, the Faculty of Political Science has comprehensively reformed its training program. Instead of spreading knowledge across many disparate subjects, the new program streamlines the number of modules, increases the number of credits per subject, and helps students learn in depth and master core knowledge. The curriculum integrates interdisciplinary knowledge, is up-to-date with practical applications, and particularly closely follows innovations in institutional reform, national governance, and the building of a strong political system.
The program also emphasizes the principle of "learning by doing," strengthening practical modules so that students can apply their knowledge to solve social problems. The instructors constantly innovate teaching methods, encouraging discussion, critical thinking, and creativity. As a result, each lesson becomes engaging, students are challenged to push their thinking limits, and their civic character is nurtured. Three flexible specialization paths to suit every passion.
Each student has their own strengths and interests. Understanding this, the Faculty of Political Science has developed three specializations for students to freely choose from, in order to best suit their interests and abilities: National Administration, Politics and Communication, and Ho Chi Minh Studies.
The new program, with its in-depth specializations, helps students "learn what they love and develop their strengths." The school designs flexible content so that regardless of their specialization, students are equipped with a solid foundation of interdisciplinary knowledge, as well as specialized knowledge relevant to their future careers. Clearly defining their specialization early on will help them be more proactive in their studies and confidently pursue their passions.

What makes Political Science at the Faculty of Political Science so appealing is its dynamic and modern learning environment, where every student has the opportunity to push their limits. With class sizes of around 60 students, instructors can closely monitor and support each individual. Students are encouraged to actively participate in extracurricular activities, academic clubs, and student organizations, developing comprehensive soft skills and social confidence.
Every year, the Faculty organizes field trips to agencies and localities so that students can observe the activities of the government apparatus and socio-political organizations, listen to local reports, thereby broadening their understanding and honing their practical experience beyond textbooks. Each trip is a challenge and a growth opportunity. Beyond gaining domestic experience, students broaden their international horizons through lectures and interactions with professors and experts from South Korea, Japan, Germany, the United States, and other countries, as well as through international academic cooperation and exchange programs. This diverse learning environment hones foreign language skills, global thinking, and integration skills – invaluable assets for the future. In addition to academics, the Faculty also focuses on the holistic development of students through scientific research, teamwork, event organization, soft skills training, and the formation of healthy social networks. With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, students can confidently work in Party and State agencies, political and social organizations; become reporters and editors in the political and social fields; communications specialists, policy analysts; teaching assistants, researchers; or take on administrative, human resources, and external relations positions in businesses and non-governmental organizations. The Faculty always encourages students to pursue Master's and Doctoral degrees with a smooth pathway thanks to the AUN-QA accredited program.
