The research group "Social Work and Social Security" under the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities is responsible for building and operating a scientific research fund (about 200 million) to serve the work of building project bidding outlines, implementing group discussion activities, professional activities... In addition, the group regularly submits research project proposals to domestic and foreign organizations for public bidding to mobilize external funding for research...

II. OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Establish and operate a scientific research fund (about 200 million) to serve the work of developing project bidding outlines, implementing group discussion activities, professional activities... In addition, the group regularly submits research project proposals to domestic and foreign organizations for public bidding to mobilize external funding for research.
  • Linking and cooperating with many levels, including ministries and departments through chairing and participating in diverse scientific research topics from the State level, Ministry/National University level, topics under the NAFOSTED fund as well as international cooperation and association projects in many countries (USA, Sweden, Japan, Korea, Canada...):
  • Develop and implement scientific research topics at all levels; compile lectures and social work textbooks according to orders from the Department of Social Protection, VNAH, etc.
  • Organize international conferences and large-scale scientific seminars.
  • Participate in training for postgraduate and undergraduate systems (full-time, part-time). In addition, the research group participates in training on Social Work and Social Security for officials of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
