Previously, nearly 80 papers were submitted to the organizing committee by scientists, researchers, and lecturers directly teaching political theory courses at universities, academies, and political centers in provinces and cities. 55 of these papers were selected, compiled, and included in the proceedings.

In the introduction to the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi highlighted that political theory education and training is an important part of the Party's ideological work.
The documents of the 13th Party Congress affirmed the innovation of curriculum content and theoretical education methods in a scientific and modern direction, linking theory with practice. Over the past years, political theory education institutions across the country have implemented many solutions to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning political theory, especially in the context of the current 4.0 revolution.

But in reality, according to Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh, there are still challenges such as teaching methods that are still mainly traditional and not attractive to learners, causing many people to...Many students believe that this content is still dry and impractical. This leads to the effectiveness and quality of political theory teaching in many places not really meeting requirements.
This scientific conference raised a number of contents such as the role of political theory in social development; challenges and opportunities of the 4.0 industrial revolution for political theory teaching courses in the current period; innovation in teaching; increasing the application of technology in political theory teaching courses; developing soft skills and critical thinking for students; promoting students' interest in learning this content; improving the teaching capacity of the teaching staff and promoting interdisciplinary cooperation in teaching and researching political theory to improve the quality of assessment and measurement of teaching this content.
“In the favorable situation, it must be shared that never before has teaching political theory faced so many challenges. For example, many teachers may be holding thick papers ready to be graded, but many of them are AI papers. Right after the presentation “Digital transformation in training and teaching political theory courses”, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Dieu - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics answered the question of how to detect the use of artificial intelligence in students' assignments? Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Dieu affirmed that it is not too difficult to identify content created by artificial intelligence, such as word repetition.

The workshop also recorded experiences in teaching political theory courses to students who have just graduated from high school and entered university in an attractive, easy-to-remember and easy-to-understand way. Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Hoai, lecturer at the National Economics University, said that she has combined gamification of historical knowledge content, organized students to watch historical plays related to Uncle Ho or divided into groups to visit revolutionary relics and historical sites in the city... The most basic and important knowledge content is all put on the LMS system to create completeness in knowledge acquisition while attracting new students to be interested in learning and exploring political theory courses that have long been considered "difficult, dry and miserable".
Giving suggestions for the innovation of teaching content of political theory courses, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Chieu - University of Social Sciences and Humanities said that every method has two sides, it cannot be absolute. No matter how much capacity is used, the lecturers who teach directly need to choose to apply appropriately to the reality of each learner. At the same time, he also emphasized the output factor. Also on this content, Dr. Ha Van Dong, Vice President of Thai Binh University affirmed that the output knowledge standards do not stop at knowledge content but also contribute to building and consolidating ideology... At the same time, it is also necessary to innovate the testing and evaluation work.

In his summary assessment of the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi affirmed that the workshop had answered the big questions, including the question about the role of technology in teaching political subjects.
“We have never had so many advantages in technology. But the biggest problem is adapting to the strong transformation while controlling and mastering technology, requiring the methods and skills of the lecturer to create attractive teaching hours but achieve educational goals including knowledge, skills, and beliefs. Each lecturer receives, responds and adjusts so that the power of technology becomes a useful tool for us instead of being swept away and dependent.
