VNU-USSH promotes cooperation with the Palestinian Embassy in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of July 22, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting with Mr. Shadi Abuzarqa, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Vietnam.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of VNU-USSH were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University; and Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Head of the Faculty of Linguistics, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies.
Speaking at the reception, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan congratulated Mr. Shadi Abuzarqa on assuming the position of Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Vietnam, and expressed his confidence that his term of office would further promote cooperation in the field of education and training. The Rector affirmed that VNU-USSH always values ​​expanding its international cooperation network and wishes to strengthen connections with Palestinian educational and research institutions through academic exchanges, faculty and student exchanges, scientific research, and cultural exchanges.

In response, Mr. Shadi Abuzarqa expressed his affection for Vietnam and its people, and highly appreciated the reputation of VNU-USSH as one of Vietnam's leading universities in the field of social sciences and humanities. The Ambassador was particularly impressed with the university's strengths in Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies training, and emphasized that language is key to understanding the history, culture, and people of each country. According to the Ambassador, learning a language not only helps bridge cultural gaps but also creates an important foundation for enhancing understanding, trust, and cooperation between nations.
