After more than 01 month of document research and 05 days of direct work at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the External Assessment Team of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center has completed an official survey to assess the quality of 06 training programs (CTDT) according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In this assessment survey, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) conducted an external assessment of 03 master's level training programs (Political Science, Management Science, Journalism and Media Management) and 03 undergraduate level training programs (Southeast Asian Studies, Japanese Studies, Han Nom).

On March 12, 2025, the education organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the results of the rankings of 55 fields in 05 groups of fields of 1,747 higher education institutions with about 21,000 training programs. In which, for the first time, the field of Sociology of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi ranked 301 - 375 in the world.

This is the result of the students after 2 months of studying and completing the training course of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

The training program in Japan for graduate students and postgraduate students of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, held in mid-February 2025, was not only an opportunity for students and postgraduate students to expand their academic knowledge but also an opportunity to promote research cooperation between the Department of Japanese Studies and partner universities and many leading research centers in Japan.

This morning, March 6, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, welcomed the External Assessment Delegation of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center for a preliminary survey and external assessment of 03 undergraduate training programs and 03 master's training programs (according to Circular 04/2016/TT-BGD DT).

The Basic Informatics course taught in the form of electronic lectures has attracted nearly 300 first students to register and officially study from the beginning of February 2025.
