Announcement of Conclusions at the September 2025 meeting

On August 29, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a School meeting. Principal Hoang Anh Tuan chaired the meeting, attended by the Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Principals, Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of Party cells, Heads, Deputy Heads of units, Chief Accountant, Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine and leaders of mass organizations.
After listening to the opinions exchanged and discussed at the Conference on the following contents:
(1) Report on the implementation of work in August 2025 and the Work Plan for September 2025; (2) Report on the implementation of the Principal's Conclusion at the August 2025 Work Conference; (3) Exchange and discussion of units and functional departments; (4) Opinions of Vice Principals; The Principal concluded:
1. Organizational structure - staff:Continue to improve the adjustment of the departmental structure model to support training management and create conditions for lecturers to develop academic expertise.
- With scientific human resources:Units develop solutions to create conditions and spaces for professional activities to "retain" and attract good scientists from outside to the School. The School will be flexible in arranging and assigning scientists to ensure the best development of professional capacity and in accordance with the development orientation of the industry/faculty/school.
-With administrative staff:Continue to adjust and transfer to promote strengths and work efficiency.
2. Training:
- Admission:Complete university admissions and organize a summary to draw experience, set out directions for next year, and proactively provide early information about the school's admission methods and combinations.
- International training:Promote implementation in the direction of interconnection and coordination between relevant professional units and administrative units to use the common resources of the School (not necessarily assigned to only 01 unit).
- Domestic training links:Implement standardization according to formal training model.
- Training organization:Continue to improve training quality, ensure learners' rights.
- Training program: Complete the procedures, paying special attention to the comments of the Standing Committee of the School's Science and Training Council on foreign language output standards and elective credits. For the Japanese Studies major, the School recommends that the Faculty of Oriental Studies should set standards according to the Ministry of Education and Training to ensure the rights of learners. In case the Faculty of Oriental Studies wishes to set higher output standards, it must reach an agreement within the Leadership Group and send an official request to the School for basis. At the same time, the Faculty of Oriental Studies is responsible for any problems that occur during the training and graduation process of students.
- Video lecture section: Complete for early implementation in practice.
- New school year opening:Follow the general schedule of the education sector and be consistent with the activities of the School.
3. Science - Foreign Affairs:
- Assign the Science department to complete management documents according to the proposed plan to have a basis for implementation in practice.
- Promote a number of key scientific activities based on the contents specified in the Resolution on science and technology to be issued soon.
- Prepare to organize a national scientific seminar/conference on development orientation of social sciences and humanities in October 2025.
- Publishing Textbooks and Library: The school invests a certain amount of funding for units to organize seminars after publishing. For Library publications, there should be a book launch and an introduction; for textbook publications, there should be at least an introduction. The Department of Science, Technology and Technology will be the focal point and coordinate the schedule for specialized units to organize and implement, and at the same time coordinate for appropriate communication and promotion.
4. Other tasks:Implement according to the issued plan.
The Board of Directors is requested to regularly urge and direct work areas, strengthen inspection work, and report to the Principal on the implementation of plans and tasks in the assigned areas. The functional departments are requested to proactively implement and ensure time, especially for key activities.
Heads of units are requested to widely inform and implement the Principal's conclusions at monthly meetings seriously, fully and on schedule.
At the September 2025 Meeting, the school leaders announced and handed over decisions on personnel and management leadership at functional departments, institutes/faculties/centers.
