Congratulatory letter from Professor Fang Fang, Vice President of Peking University, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Humanities and the 30th anniversary of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The two schools will continue to work together to promote the traditional friendship and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.”Over the past period, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has placed particular emphasis on cooperative relationships with universities and research institutes in China, with Peking University – one of the most prestigious universities in Asia – always being a key partner. Through the connections of scientists, the two universities have implemented many effective collaborative activities, laying a solid foundation for large-scale programs in the future.
A significant milestone in bilateral cooperation was the Vietnam-China Higher Education Cooperation Seminar, held on December 9, 2024, at Peking University, with the participation of leaders from both Ministries of Education and Training, relevant agencies, and many leading universities from both countries. At this event, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities officially signed cooperation agreements with Peking University and Beijing Foreign Studies University in various fields: training and research in social sciences and humanities, faculty and student exchange, cooperation in Vietnamese and Chinese language training, and enhanced academic exchange.
In January 2025, a delegation from Peking University visited and worked with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, further strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two sides and promoting the implementation of the signed programs.
