This is the content discussed and agreed upon at the working session between representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and leaders of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee on the afternoon of October 30, 2025.
The working session, chaired by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hong Son, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, agreed on many strategic cooperation contents, affirming the role and position of the University in participating in research, heritage conservation and contributing to local socio-economic development.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich welcomed and highly appreciated the cooperation proposals of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Gia Lai province has great potential in terms of cultural and historical heritage. The province always wishes and is ready to cooperate with leading research units to conduct research seriously and systematically. The leaders of Gia Lai province expressed their wish that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities would support the implementation of in-depth research with high scientific and practical value.

The key cooperation directions include comprehensive research, clarifying the outstanding historical and cultural heritage values ​​of the locality, especially the Tay Son heritage and the Champa cultural "heritage treasure". The two sides agreed on the policy of coordinating the organization of an international scientific conference, scheduled for June 2026.
The results of the cooperation agreement open up opportunities for social science and humanities research to be directly applied, contributing to "turning heritage into resources" to serve local socio-economic development.
