The new Dean's Board of the Faculty consists of: Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Department Head), MSc. Le Tuan Hung (Deputy Dean), and MSc. Cam Anh Tuan (Deputy Dean).
At the ceremony, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh stated:The Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management has gradually risen to maintain its leading position in the field of training and research in Archival Studies and Office Management."

During the past term, the Faculty has achieved many outstanding accomplishments in all fields. Since the 2010-2011 academic year, the Faculty has been tasked with training doctoral students in Archival Studies, continuing the tradition of research and training at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Archival Studies and Office Management at the University for nearly 50 years. From the 2014-2015 academic year, the Faculty has offered two separate undergraduate programs: Archival Studies and Office Management, officially marking a new stage of development for the Faculty, recognized by society as a pioneering unit in research and training in these two fields nationwide. In addition, cooperation between the Faculty and relevant training, research, and government agencies nationwide has made significant progress. Many international research and cooperation projects on Archival Studies, and international conferences in collaboration with partners from Japan, Korea, Russia, and France have been implemented, bringing a new status to the Faculty. These achievements owe a great deal to the contributions of the previous Executive Board, especially Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Phung - former Head of the Faculty.

Professor Nguyen Van Khanh also expressed his confidence in the new Board of Directors, with its young, enthusiastic staff members who have received thorough training at leading universities both domestically and internationally, and who will bring new ideas and initiatives to be applied to the unit's practical operations.
During the 2014-2019 term, the Rector proposed that the Faculty focus on the following four key tasks: continuing to maintain and improve the quality of training in the two fields of Archival Studies and Office Management; maintaining and expanding international cooperation, especially with Aix-Marseille University (France) to train internationally qualified Master's students in Archival Studies; rapidly standardizing the staff; and strengthening the connection between generations of staff, so as to both utilize the skills and experience of the older generation and leverage the strengths of the younger generation for the Faculty's development goals.

On behalf of the new Faculty Board, Dr. Dao Duc Thuan shared the Faculty's plans and main development goals. Regarding training, the Faculty will continuously improve quality.university educationof the two fields of Information Technology and Public Administration; developing additional specialized directions in:Document management, specialized document archiving, administrative science, corporate office management...;Admissions and training for the Master of Office Management program have been open since the 2015-2016 academic year.
In addition, the Faculty will focus on expanding international cooperation with Aix-Marseille University in Master's degree training in Archival Studies; exchanging lecturers and students with Gakushuin University (Japan)...
Regarding scientific research, the Faculty will develop research directions and topics on the organization and management of document management in the new era, especially in businesses; research on the types of documents and records generated in the activities of specialized agencies; and measures.Organizing and managing document management and archiving.in agencies and organizations, especially businesses. Based on that, the Faculty focuses on expanding its research direction into the field.Develop and ensure information systems that support leadership and management activities.

For the Archival Studies specialization, the Faculty will clearly plan and implement interdisciplinary research directions and topics with Historical Sciences, Information Sciences, Management Sciences, Cultural Studies, and Economics to promote the value of archival documents and the strengths of the archival sector in serving historical research purposes and supporting the management and operation of agencies, organizations, and businesses during the country's development period.
In the field of Office Management, the Faculty strives to develop interdisciplinary research directions and topics with other scientific disciplines such as Management, Management Science, Information Science, Public Administration, and Information Technology to clarify the role of office management in the operational efficiency of agencies, organizations, and businesses during the period of industrialization and modernization of the country.
