The new term of the Faculty Board includes: Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Dean of the Faculty), MSc. Le Tuan Hung (Deputy Dean of the Faculty), MSc. Cam Anh Tuan (Deputy Dean of the Faculty).
At the ceremony, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh said: “The Faculty of Archives and Office Management has gradually risen and maintained its leading position in the field of training and research in the field of Archival Studies and Office Management.”.

During the last term, the Faculty has achieved many outstanding achievements in all fields. Since the 2010-2011 academic year, the Faculty has been assigned to train PhDs in Archival Studies, continuing the tradition of research and training at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Archives and Office Management at the University for nearly 50 years. Since the 2014-2015 academic year, the Faculty has trained two separate undergraduate majors, Archival Studies and Office Management, officially marking a new development stage of the Faculty, recognized by society as a pioneer and leader in research and training of the above two majors nationwide. In addition, cooperation activities between the Faculty and relevant training and research units and ministries and sectors nationwide have made great strides. Many international research and cooperation projects on Archival Studies, international conferences in collaboration with partners from Japan, Korea, Russia, and France have been implemented, bringing a new position to the Faculty. These achievements have great contributions from the previous term's Executive Committee, especially Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phung - former Head of the Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh also expressed his confidence in the new BCN team, with young, enthusiastic staff, well-trained at leading universities in the country and abroad, who will bring new thinking and initiatives to apply to the practical operations of the unit.
During the 2014-2019 term, the Rector suggested that the Faculty should focus on implementing the following four key tasks: continue to maintain and improve the training quality of the two majors of LTH and QTVP; maintain and expand international cooperation, especially cooperation with Aix-Marseille University (France) to train international quality Masters in Archival Studies; quickly standardize the staff; strengthen the connection between generations of staff, to both take advantage of the qualifications and experience of the previous generation of staff and promote the strength of the young staff for the development goals of the Faculty.

On behalf of the new Faculty Executive Committee, Dr. Dao Duc Thuan shared the plans and main development goals of the Faculty. Regarding training, the Faculty will continuously improve the quality.university educationof the two sectors of LTH and QTVP; build more specialized directions onDocument management, Specialized document storage, Administrative science, Business office management...;Enrollment and training for Master of Office Administration from the 2015-2016 school year.
In addition, the Faculty will focus on expanding international cooperation with Aix-Marseille University in training Masters in Archival Studies; exchanging lecturers and students with Gakushuin University (Japan)...
Regarding scientific research, the Faculty will develop research directions and topics on the organization and management of document work in the new period, especially in enterprises; research on types of documents and records formed in the activities of professional agencies; measuresorganize and manage document and archive workin agencies, organizations, especially enterprises. On that basis, the Faculty focuses on expanding research into the fieldBuild and ensure information systems to serve leadership and management activities.

For the major of LTH, the Faculty will clearly plan and implement interdisciplinary research directions and topics with Historical Science, Information Science, Management Science, Cultural Studies and Economics to promote the value of archival documents and the strengths of the archives industry in serving the purpose of historical research and serving the management and operation of agencies, organizations and enterprises in the developing period of the country.
With the Office Administration major, the Faculty strives to build interdisciplinary research directions and topics with scientific fields such as: Administration, Management Science, Information Science, Administrative Science, Information Technology to clarify the role of office administration in the operational efficiency of agencies, organizations and enterprises in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country.
