"An honor"

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a school with many fine traditions and a glorious history. Although I am only a first-year student and haven't had much time or memories associated with this school, after a short time studying here, I feel increasingly fond of the school and becoming a student of the university is a great honor for me. I remember the moments on September 3rd, 2014, when I went to school to enroll, carrying so much hope and dreams, but also a feeling of utter strangeness because I didn't know anyone. Everything felt meaningless to me because at that time everything was so new to a new student like me: a new school, new friends, new teachers, and especially the teaching methods were completely unfamiliar to me. There were many difficulties and pressures because I had to leave my family and my old school to come to a place that felt completely strange.

But after a period of initial unfamiliarity, I gradually got used to this place. At this moment, I feel incredibly fortunate to have been trained at the beloved University of Humanities. Studying here, I've come to realize that this place is like my second home. The university has taught me so many valuable things, helping me to be more confident as I enter life. Besides teaching, the student union also organizes many beneficial and interesting activities for students, such as volunteer work, which helps students gain more experiences and develop more skills. Through these volunteer activities, students have created countless unforgettable memories, fostered growth, and gained invaluable experience. The school's clubs are also very helpful to students, making them more active, open, and sociable. These include the English club, the Flower Club, the Youth Volunteer Club, volunteer activities like "Warm Clothes for Children," "Warm Winter in Ha Giang," the Enactus Club organizing exhibitions, and blood donation programs. I find the new school quite nice and friendly; it feels like a common home for all students, where everyone shares joys and sorrows during their years of study and training at the University of Humanities. Although I haven't been here for very long, I feel that the teachers are very dedicated and passionate about their profession. They are always attentive in guiding and answering students' questions. In the beginning, thanks to the teachers' attentive care, I felt less alienated and quickly adapted to this new school.

Teachers are very close to students, helping them to study better at the University of Humanities. I am extremely grateful to my teachers – those who have given me so many dreams and knowledge. Studying at university is still challenging, but thanks to the enthusiastic guidance of the teachers, I feel much more confident than when I first started studying here. I feel this is a very good environment for me to develop myself in the future. Although I haven't been studying here long, I've made new friends who always help me with my studies and share my difficulties. They have made me no longer feel unfamiliar with this new school; it has become a familiar place to me without me even realizing it. I feel increasingly connected to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities because not only are the teachers caring and dedicated, but I also have wonderful friends who are always there for me, making me feel less alone while studying here. Studying and training at this university is an honor and a source of pride for me and all students. The time I spend here may not be very long, but it will be a time for me to create the most beautiful memories of my student life, and nowhere else but here – at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – the place that "gave me wings" to confidently step into life.
