To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2021) and the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (March 16, 1996 – March 16, 2021), the Standing Committee and Secretariat of the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) are organizing the "Humanities Leader" competition to discover a new generation of potential Youth Union and Student Association officials, as well as to create a platform for Youth Union and Student Association officials to interact, learn, and share experiences.

For the first time, the Faculty of Humanities is searching for a leader.
The "Humanities Leader" competition, organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, aims to find talented and promising leaders. The competition consists of three rounds (preliminary, semi-final, and final) taking place from February 22, 2021 to April 7, 2021. It is open to students who are Youth Union and Student Association officials throughout the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; members of the Executive Board/Team Leaders of Clubs/Groups/Teams/Unions under the University's Youth Union and Student Association; and Youth Union officials from the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities.

The race for leadership...
The preliminary round, which lasted only 3 days (from March 22nd to March 24th, 2021), attracted over 200 online registrations from the most outstanding Youth Union and Student Association officials from the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Combining both knowledge and practice, will these leaders succeed?
The top 12 contestants participating in the "Humanities Leader" final round will be selected through two parts: "Professional Knowledge" and "Community Project". This round requires contestants to demonstrate their knowledge, basic soft skills (communication, listening, trust, problem-solving), leadership skills, critical thinking, etc.
The "Professional Knowledge" segment has concluded, yielding impressive results that show the leaders are fiercely competing for a spot in the final round.


Currently, the Community Project portion of the "Humanitarian Leaders" competition: "I AM FOR THE COMMUNITY - YOU ARE TOO" is underway, with 150 leaders divided into 16 teams. They are finalizing their projects in preparation for the final round on March 28, 2021.

Or perhaps it's the thread that connects people during the Covid pandemic.

The final round of the "Humanities Leader" competition, taking place on April 7th, 2021, promises to bring surprises to the Top 12 leaders, along with a panel of highly qualified judges and many attractive prizes.
