Recently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the International Institution for Asian Studies (IIAS), Leiden University (LU) of the Netherlands, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) of France, and the Seoul National University Asia Center (SNUAC), organized the second "Comparative Vietnam - South Korea" conference.
