The school was recommended.10Candidates who meet the following criteria will be eligible to study in China:
- Being a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China and being in good health;
- Level of education:
+ University: High school graduates under 25 years old are required when applying for a university program;
+ Master's degree: must have a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old when applying for master's programs;
+ PhD: must have a master's degree and be under 40 years old when applying for doctoral programs;
+ General scholar programs: applicants must be under 45 years of age and have completed at least two years of university studies when applying for general scholar programs;
+ Advanced academic programs: applicants must be under 50 years old and hold a master's degree or associate professorship (or higher) when applying for advanced academic programs.

Required documents:
a) Application form for the Chinese Government Scholarship in Chinese or English.
b) Notarized highest degree certificate: Prospective scholarship winners must submit proof of student status from their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation.
c) Academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation.
d) Study plan or research proposal in Chinese or English. (Minimum 200 words for undergraduate students, 500 words for non-degree students, and 800 words for postgraduate students.)
e) Letters of Recommendation: Applicants for postgraduate or advanced academic programs must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
f) Applicants for music studies programs are required to submit their own work. Applicants for fine arts programs must submit their own work including two sketches, two color paintings, and two other pieces.
g) Applicants under 18 years of age should submit valid documents from their legal guardian in China.
h) Applicants intending to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a copy.Foreigner physical examination formIn English (the original must be kept by the applicant). i) Pre-acceptance letters from universities within the Chinese Government Scholarship University Network.
j) Language proficiency certificates. For example: HSK, IELTS, or TOEFL certificates.
We kindly request that the Heads of Departments and Faculties inform their staff, undergraduate students, and postgraduate students, and compile a list of nominated candidates. Please refer to the attached files for information on application instructions and the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (attached files are available in both Chinese and English below). Please send this letter to the Cooperation and Development Office.Before March 27, 2019.
