“USSH's Got Talent 2014”
1. PURPOSE, MEANING
- The contest is organized with the most important purpose of creating a playground for students to have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and abilities, thereby learning more skills and getting acquainted with Union activities in the University environment.
-The contest is organized to create an environment for exchange between students, both enriching their spiritual and cultural life and honoring the teacher-student relationship, the spirit of solidarity, working and studying together to build the school to constantly develop.
-This is a new, practical and attractive competition for students, a meeting place for the media, businesses, sponsors and students interested in this program.
-Continue to promote the success of the Humanities Student Talent Search Contest "USSH's Got Talent 2010" and the K56 and K57 Freshman Talent Contests; create the basis for organizing the contest annually.
2. TIME AND LOCATION OF THE CONTEST
2.1 Time
- The contest consists of 2 stages: preliminary and final
- Expected: + Preliminary round: 16:00 September 16, 2014
+ Final round: 19:00 September 27, 2014
2.2 Location
- Preliminary round: Hall 8th floor, building E
- Final round: Outdoor stage
3. CONTEST RULES
3.1. Contestants:Students of regular training courses, including foreign students.
3.2. Contest format
- The organizers encourage all forms of participation such as dancing, singing, dancing, hosting, acting, musical instrument performance, magic, etc. The performances are novel, creative with rich content.
- Performances on the list of prohibited performances by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which are not suitable for Vietnamese customs and ethics, are not allowed to participate in the contest.
3.3. Time for each test
- Each candidate has 3 to 5 minutes to perform their part, not including preparation time (over 1 minute will have 5 points deducted per minute from the average score of that part).
- Candidates who are absent or late without permission from the Organizing Committee will be disqualified from the competition.
3.4. Score
- The Organizing Committee is responsible for inviting a panel of judges who are experts and have prestige to evaluate and score.
- The total score of each contestant's exam is 30 points including the criteria: content, form and style.
- The judges may decide to add extra points to the contestant depending on the form of the contest entry.
- All scoring issues are decided and the responsibility of the Jury.
3.5. How to register for the preliminary round
Students participating in the contest can register in the following 2 ways:
- Register with the branch president. The branch is responsible for compiling a list of students registering to participate (according to attached form) and submit to the Contest Organizing Committee via emailvpdoanhoinhanvan@gmail.com before 16:00 on September 12, 2014.
- Register using google form via the contest fanpage.
- Register directly with the Organizing Committee at the Preliminary Round of the competition.
Note for candidates using beat music:
+ For candidates registering with the branch president: The branch will collect music beats and send the registration list to the Organizing Committee;
+ For candidates registering via googleform: send music beats via emailvpdoanhoinhanvan@gmail.com;
+ For candidates who register directly at the Preliminary Round: copy the music beat at the registration desk to the Organizing Committee.
3.6. Training format for the Final Round
- Candidates entering the final round will be advised by the Organizing Committee on the content and performance format to complete their exam well.
- Candidates will be divided into practice groups according to the same criteria and competition format and have appropriate consultants.
4. PRIZE STRUCTURE
- 01 gold prize: worth 1,000,000 VND + trophy + certificate
- 01 silver prize: worth 500,000 VND + certificate
- 02 crystal prizes: worth 200,000 VND/prize + certificate
- 01 promising prize: worth 100,000 VND + certificate
- In addition, all finalists will receive a certificate from the Organizing Committee.
5. IMPLEMENTATION ORGANIZATION
- The school's Student Union directs the organization of the competition.
- The association coordinates to propagate and promote to all students of its unit, especially students of K59.
- Each Union sends 1 member of the Executive Committee to directly take charge of students participating in their unit's competition.
