Announcement of enrollment for the Television Broadcasting Professional Training Course (November 2014)

1. Subject

Students who have graduated from or are currently studying at colleges/universities.

2. Objectives

By the end of the course, students will have grasped the basic theoretical knowledge of television and mastered the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically, these skills include:

+ Scripts and television scripts; television program production process; television journalism genres; television terminology.

+ Techniques for shooting basic television genres such as news, documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice shooting on modern video cameras.

+ Non-linear film editing techniques and commonly used computer graphics and special effects programs.

+ Practical training time accounts for 70%.

3. Study time

14 sessions, 3 sessions per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

4. Tuition fees

– 3,500,000 VND/student/course. Special offer for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 3,200,000 VND/student/course.

– A minimum of 70% of the tuition fee must be paid upon registration. Tuition fees are non-refundable after the course begins.

5. Register for the course

- From October 1st, 2014 to October 28th, 2014 at the Center for Journalism and Communication (Room 411, Building C, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).

The registration documents include:

- Registration form (obtain and fill out the form at the registration location)

- Copy of student ID/university diploma/copy of birth certificate/photocopy of national ID card

- Two 3 x 4 cm photos (taken within the last 3 months)

6. Expected start date

- November 3, 2014.
