On May 11, 2009, the State Council for Professor Titles issued Notice No. 42/HĐCDGSNN regarding the plan for considering professor and associate professor titles in 2009.
The school requests that heads of departments inform all faculty members who meet the eligibility criteria for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor, and encourage them to register. The specific timeframe is as follows:
- May 29th: Deadline for candidates to register for the professorship and associate professorship titles at the University.
- June 19th: Deadline for candidates to submit their applications for the professorship and associate professorship titles at the office of the National Council for Professorship Title Conferment (candidates must submit in person).
- June 30th: Deadline for candidates to submit applications to the Board of Directors of the College of Technology and Science.
- From July 8th to August 10th: The Councils for the Recognition of Professors and Associate Professors will review and approve those who meet the standards for these titles.
- August 15th: Deadline for the Council for Professor and Doctoral Degree Conferment to submit documents to the National Council for Professor and Doctoral Degree Conferment.
