Thực hiện hướng dẫn của ĐHQGHN và hướng dẫn của Văn phòng Thường vụ Đảng ủy Nhà trường về việc góp ý văn kiện đại hội các cấp, sáng ngày 1/4/2015, Công Đoàn Nhà trường đã tổ chức hội nghị góp ý văn kiện đại hội các cấp.

Ngày 10/4/2014, PGS.TS Phạm Quanh Minh (Phó Hiệu trưởng Trường ĐHKHXH&NV) đã tiếp đón và làm việc với đoàn đại biểu của Hội đồng Giáo dục Đại học Thụy Điển do bà Anna Lindeberg - cán bộ Chương trình Hội đồng - dẫn đầu. Cùng tiếp đoàn còn có sự tham gia của các cán bộ, giảng viên Khoa Khoa học Chính trị, đại diện Phòng Quản lí Nghiên cứu Khoa học và Phòng Đối ngoại và Hợp tác Đào tạo Quốc tế.

Ngày 08/4/2014, PGS.TS Phạm Quang Minh (Phó Hiệu trưởng Trường ĐHKHXH&NV) đã tiếp và làm việc với ngài Raymond Chow (Tham tán kiêm Phó Đại sứ) và bà Thang Thục Kỳ (Bí thư Thứ nhất) của Đại sứ quán Cộng hòa Singapore tại Hà Nội. Tham dự buổi tiếp có ThS. Trần Điệp Thành - Phó trưởng phòng Đối ngoại và Hợp tác đào tạo quốc tế.

Ngày 27/3/2014, PGS.TS Nguyễn Văn Kim - Phó Hiệu trưởng Trường ĐHKHXH&NV đã tiếp và làm việc với GS. Lenore Gallin - Khoa Nhân học, Trường Đại học Cộng đồng Diablo Valley (Hoa Kỳ). Tham dự buổi tiếp có TS. Hoàng Anh Tuấn - Phó Chủ nhiệm Khoa Lịch sử, TS. Nguyễn Văn Sửu - Phó Chủ nhiệm Bộ môn Nhân học và ThS. Trần Điệp Thành - Phó phòng Đối ngoại và Hợp tác đào tạo quốc tế.

Năm học 2012-2013, Trường ĐHKHXH&NV đã đạt được những kết quả toàn diện trên nhiều mặt hoạt động. PGS.TS Nguyễn Văn Kim (Phó Hiệu trưởng Nhà trường) tổng kết những thành tích nổi bật và cho biết những định hướng quan trọng của Trường trong năm học tới.

Over 1,000 students, among the candidates from more than 30 provinces and cities nationwide, will officially become Bachelor of Science graduates. The textbook "Indian Customs and Traditions" by author Do Thu Ha (Associate Professor, PhD, Faculty of Oriental Studies) was published by Hanoi National University Publishing House in 2012.

From a journalism student who loved filmmaking, Ha Thai (real name Bui Thi Ha, former student of K53, Faculty of Journalism and Communication – University of Social Sciences and Humanities) has now won two awards at the Golden Lotus Film Festival 2011 and the Silver Kite Award in the short film category 2012.

USSH presents 05 research projects that focused on students and received awards from the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) announces the schedule for the 2013 online university admissions counseling session.

In addition, the University is also striving to diversify training programs, open many new majors, and make many innovations in admissions to better meet the needs of society…” – Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities shared some opinions on various issues related to the University's admissions and training.

2013 marked the return of one of the biggest sporting events at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: the 6th Men's Student Football Tournament, named USSH Champions League 2013 (UCL2013). After many years of absence, this tournament was organized on an unprecedented scale and with the highest quality, promising to ignite the "Humanities Spirit" in the coming summer.

The workshop was part of Project TN3/X07 “Issues of Social Development and Social Development Management in the Central Highlands,” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Thanh, and took place on April 12, 2013. There were 22 presentations from experts and scientists in various fields: policy science, management science, development science, culture, ethnology, sociology, etc.

On April 12, 2013, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) received and worked with a delegation from Yunnan University of Economics and Finance (China) led by Professor Kim Quoc Hung – Secretary of the Party Committee of the ASEAN Academy.

In early April, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) made a business trip to Japan at the official invitation of Professor Yojiro Ishii, Rector of the Graduate School of Comprehensive Cultural Studies at the University of Tokyo.
