Notice: Demand for appointment of Associate Professor title in 2018 (supplementary)

Pursuant to Decision No. 20/2012/QD-TTg dated April 24, 2012 of the Prime Minister on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the "Regulations on standards and procedures for appointment and dismissal of the titles of professor and associate professor" issued together with Decision No. 174/2008/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2008 of the Prime Minister;

Pursuant to Circular No. 16/2009/TT-BGDDT dated July 17, 2009 of the Ministry of Education and Training detailing the recognition, cancellation of recognition of meeting standards, appointment, and exemption from the titles of professor and associate professor;

Pursuant to Circular No. 30/2012/TT-BGDDT dated September 11, 2012 of the Minister of Education and Training amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 16/2009/TT-BGDDT dated July 17, 2009 of the Minister of Education and Training detailing the recognition, cancellation of recognition of meeting standards, appointment and dismissal of the titles of professor and associate professor;

Notice of additional quota for appointment of associate professor in 2018 as follows:

     2. Conditions for appointment registration

- Has been recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor by the State Council for Professor Titles or has been appointed as an Associate Professor at a foreign higher education institution and is currently teaching at the university level or higher at higher education institutions in Vietnam.

• Wish to be appointed Associate Professor at the School.
• Candidates who are not on the University's payroll must complete the transfer, assignment or recruitment process to the University according to current State regulations before being considered for appointment to the title of Associate Professor.

      3. Application file for appointment to the title of Associate Professor includes:

- Application form for appointment to the title of Associate Professor (according to the form issued by the State Council for Professor Titles);

- Decision on recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor issued by the Chairman of the State Council for Professor Titles;

- Appointment proposal letter from Faculty, Department; Minutes of Faculty, Department meeting for candidates registering for the title of Associate Professor.

University of Social Sciences and Humanities begins accepting applications for appointment to the position of Associate Professor in 2018 (supplementary) from30/11/2018until the end of the day07/12/2018at the Personnel Organization Department (Room 602-Building E, No. 336, Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi).
