Announcement: Additional vacancies for Associate Professor positions in 2018

Based on Decision No. 20/2012/QD-TTg dated April 24, 2012 of the Prime Minister on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the "Regulations on standards and procedures for appointing and dismissing professors and associate professors" issued together with Decision No. 174/2008/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2008 of the Prime Minister;

Based on Circular No. 16/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated July 17, 2009, of the Ministry of Education and Training, which details the procedures for recognizing, revoking, appointing, and dismissing professors and associate professors;

Based on Circular No. 30/2012/TT-BGDĐT dated September 11, 2012, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, amending and supplementing several articles of Circular No. 16/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated July 17, 2009, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, which details the recognition, revocation of recognition of standards, appointment, and dismissal of professor and associate professor titles;

The following announcement concerns the additional quota for associate professor appointments in 2018:

- Having been recognized as meeting the standards for the Associate Professor title by the State Council for Professor Titles, or having previously been appointed as an Associate Professor at a higher education institution abroad, and currently teaching at the undergraduate level or higher at higher education institutions in Vietnam.

• I aspire to be appointed Associate Professor at the University.
• For candidates who are not on the School's payroll, they must complete the transfer, assignment, or recruitment process into the School in accordance with current State regulations before being considered for appointment to the Associate Professor position.

      3. The application dossier for appointment to the position of Associate Professor includes:

- Application form for appointment to the position of Associate Professor (according to the mẫu form issued by the State Council for Professor Titles);

- The decision to recognize someone as having met the standards for the title of Associate Professor is issued by the Chairman of the State Council for Professor Titles;

- Official letter requesting appointment from the Faculty/Department; Minutes of Faculty/Department meetings for candidates applying for the Associate Professor title.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities begins accepting applications for the appointment of Associate Professors in 2018 (supplementary) from [date].30/11/2018until the end of the day07/12/2018at the Personnel Department (Room 602 - Building E, No. 336, Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).
