Announcement of university admission for part-time study program in Journalism, 2015, in Hanoi

University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organizes enrollment for 01 part-time university class in 2015, Journalism major, quota of 80 students.

                I. ADMISSION OBJECTS

Officials, civil servants and other members who fully meet the requirements to take the university entrance exam according to the current regulations on part-time university admission of the Ministry of Education and Training.

               II. DIPLOMAS AND ADMISSION EXAM SUBJECTS

1. Exam area:

Candidates must have one of the following diplomas: High school, Cultural supplementary high school, Professional high school, Vocational high school, College and must pass an entrance exam consisting of 03 subjects in block C (Geography, History, Literature) according to the High school program.

2. Exemption from entrance exam:

People who have a college degree.

III. PROCEDURES FOR ISSUING DOCUMENTS:

The application documents are issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The application period is from January 30, 2015 to March 31, 2015. Candidates can purchase and submit the application documents at the Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

IV. APPLICATION DOCUMENTS INCLUDE

1. A set of application documents certified by the agency or locality and with a photo attached and stamped on the edges.

2. A notarized copy of graduation certificate (high school, vocational school, college).

3. A notarized copy of university diploma with transcript (for exam exemption).

4.A notarized copy of birth certificate.

5. Notarized copy of priority certificate (if any)

6.Certificate of employment at the agency (if any).

7.03 color photos 3x4 cm, full name and date of birth written on the back.

8. Two envelopes with stamps, clearly stating the address and contact phone number (postage stamp 2000 VND).

V. EXAM TIME: Expected April 11 - 12, 2015

VI. PRIORITY POLICY IN ADMISSION:

Priority candidates will enjoy priority according to the current Regulations on part-time admission of the Ministry of Education and Training according to the region and the subjects registering for the exam. For priority according to the region, it is determined by the place of work, place of permanent residence registration, or place of study and graduation from high school, depending on which region has the higher priority. (Article 6, Chapter I, Regulations on university admission for the VLVH system issued under Decision No. 62/2008/QD-BGDDT dated November 25, 2008 of the Minister of Education and Training). People with many priority criteria will only enjoy the highest priority. Priority certificates must be submitted once in the application; additional submissions after the exam will not be accepted for priority consideration.

        VIII. FEES

• Exam registration fee: 60,000 VND/candidate (submitted with application)
• Exam fee: 450,000 VND/candidate (submitted with application)
• Exam exemption fee: 200,000 VND/candidate (submitted with application)
