The Institute of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi continuously opens supplementary knowledge classes for those who do not have a university degree in Journalism and are eligible to take the postgraduate entrance exam.

Next class is expected to start in May 2022

1. Master of Journalism program - research orientation.

Subjects must take supplementary courses.

-Candidates with university degrees in the following fields: Literature, Language, Political Science, International Studies, Sociology, History, Philosophy, Law, Anthropology, Management Science, Psychology, Informatics, International Relations, Stage Director, Film and Television Director, Cinematography, Publishing.

Study time: 1-2 months

Duration:23 credits

Full course tuition: 5,000,000 VND (five million dong)

2. Master of Journalism program - applied orientation.

Subjects required to take supplementary courses:

- Related industries:Candidates with university degrees in the following fields: Literature, Linguistics, Political Science, International Studies, History, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Philosophy, Law, Economics, Anthropology, Management Science, Psychology, Information Science, Publishing - Distribution, International Relations, Foreign Information, Television Directing, Television Editing, International Languages ​​and Cultures, Advertising and Marketing, Publishing.

- Other industries:All other industries

Study time: 1-2 months

Duration and tuition: + Related majors: 23 credits; tuition: 5,000,000 VND/course

+ Other majors: 35 credits; tuition: 7,000,000 VND/course

3. Master of Journalism Management Program Media.

Subjects required to take supplementary courses:

- Related industries:Candidates with university degrees in the following fields: Theory, History of Cinema - Television, Screenwriting of Cinema - Television, Directing of Cinema - Television, Vietnamese Language and Culture, Philosophy, Scientific Socialism, Religious Studies, History, Linguistics, Literature, Cultural Studies, Cultural Management, Economics, Political Science, State Management, International Relations, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, International Studies, Media Technology, Publishing, Publishing Business, Information - Library, Information Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Management Science, Public Management, Law.

- Other industries:all other industries

Study time: 1-2 months

Duration and tuition: + Related industries: 20 credits; tuition: 4,500,000 VND/course

( UMembers of the relevant industry have a membership card of the Journalists Association:Reduce 08 credits, still study 12 credits; tuition: 2,700,000 VND/course)

+Other industries: 29 credits; tuition: 6,500,000 VND/course

(Candidates from other fields with a Journalists Association membership card:Reduce 08 credits, still study 21 credits; tuition: 4,700,000 VND/course)

4. Certification:Students who complete the program will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, qualifying them to take the Master's exam in Journalism at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

* Candidates with university degrees in Journalism, Multimedia Communications, Public Relations, International Communications, Mass Communications can register immediately, do not have to take additional courses and do not require work experience.
