The SETY Science Summer Camp 2022, themed “Ecological-Social Transformation and Youth: From Idea to Action,” is about to take place.

The goal of the SETY Science Summer Camp 2022 is to create an environment that helps female participants enhance their capabilities and confidence in participating in research and community development activities, as well as contributing their voices to policy forums for the younger generation in the future.

The 6-day program includes valuable knowledge exchange activities, scientific research skills training, and practical experiences through thematic workshops and teamwork activities. The instructors are all enthusiastic experts and consultants with extensive research experience in social issues, ecology, environment, and sustainable development.

In addition, participants will experience group activities and participate in networking and discussions with reputable scientific experts. SETY Camp 2022 will conclude with a Gala to summarize the six days of activities. During the Gala, participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted, bond, and reminisce about the beautiful memories from the camp. Furthermore, the Gala will be a chance for participants to summarize the valuable knowledge they have gained, and groups will present their learning and work results.

▶︎ ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

– Female, aged 18-35;

– Currently studying or working at universities, research institutes, research centers, etc., in Hanoi.

– Having an interest in or currently studying and researching issues related to socio-ecological transition, environment, gender, and sustainable development;

Preference will be given to candidates who have research papers related to socio-ecological transition, environment, gender, and sustainable development issues.
