The Party branch congress has been completed.

During the week of May 17th to 22nd, the Party branches of three faculties and two departments under the University held their congresses. These included the faculties of Information and Library Science, Tourism Studies, Journalism and Communication, and the departments of Political Science and Anthropology. These were the last Party branches in the University's Party Committee to hold their grassroots Party branch congresses.Party members participated in discussions, contributing many valuable opinions to the draft Political Report of the Party Committee to be presented at the 26th Party Congress; and discussed and contributed opinions to the draft Political Report of the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Passionate about the university's development strategy until 2020 and its vision for 2030, many opinions emphasized that, in order to quickly transform the University of Social Sciences and Humanities into a research university on par with leading universities in Southeast Asia, the Party Committee needs to enhance its comprehensive leadership role. In particular, it is necessary to develop the staff, innovate training and staff utilization, and comprehensively reform the university's management mechanisms to maintain and improve the quality of education. Strengthening leadership in professional work and scientific research, expanding international relations, promoting the implementation of joint training and scientific research programs, contributing to raising the qualifications of the staff and the prestige of the University; improving the effectiveness of leadership of mass organizations.
