Towards the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of International Studies, the Faculty's Student Association launched the "Design a logo for the Faculty of International Studies" contest starting from April 12, 2010. The contestants are individuals and groups of students of the Faculty.
Towards the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of International Studies, the Faculty's Student Association launched the "Design a logo for the Faculty of International Studies" contest starting from April 12, 2010. The contestants are individuals and groups of students of the Faculty.After launching, the Organizing Committee received 20 entries. At the end of round 1, 05 entries entered round 2. The Organizing Committee will base on the votes of full-time students of all courses to select 03 entries for round 3. After a presentation before the Jury, the best entry will be selected to receive the First Prize. This entry will become the official logo of the Faculty, widely used by the Faculty of International Studies in activities and information exchange with units inside and outside the school. The official results will be announced at the end of May 2010.

Entries must satisfy the following requirements:

  • The logo content must show the name of the Faculty in Vietnamese (Faculty of International Studies), English (Faculty of International Studies) or abbreviation (IS).
  • The logo must reflect the typical characteristics of the Faculty: Dynamic and Creative.
  • The logo must be simple, highly general, harmoniously arranged, ensuring modernity, aesthetics and artistry, not duplicating the ideas of existing logos in Vietnam and around the world; not violating public morality.
  • The logo must meet design requirements such as: aesthetic, memorable, recognizable, impressive to the public, expressing national cultural identity (expressed through color, lines, layout, meaning, etc.).
  • The logo fully represents the strokes, the sizes of each different detail; not too complicated when expressed in printing, engraving, embossing, etc. on common materials.
  • Each entry must be accompanied by a presentation of the idea.
