Ten years looking back on a journey

The Student Volunteer Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary of establishment and development on the afternoon of May 19, 2010.Over ten years of development and growth, the Student Volunteer Team, with its high spirit and sense of responsibility, has proven to be the most influential youth volunteer team in the University's Student Union. With the motto "Where there is a need, the youth are there; where there is difficulty, the youth are there," the Student Volunteer Team has consistently been at the forefront of all activities of the University's Youth Union and Student Union. Specific activities such as "Supporting Students During Exams," "School-wide Blood Donation Day," "Welcome New Students," and "Student Singing Contest," organized by the Team, have yielded many positive results and had a profound impact on the student movement throughout the university. It's also worth mentioning that the Student Volunteer Team is always present at major events of the University. Not only is it actively involved within the University, but the Student Volunteer Team also participates in many joint activities of the Youth Union and Student Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This is also the first student team of the University's Student Union to have its own uniform, the traditional blue shirt of youth volunteers. With the achievements, over the years, the Youth Volunteer Team has been awarded certificates of merit by the School Student Association, VNU Student Association, and Hanoi City Student Association. In particular, in 2009, the Volunteer Student Team and Team Leader Nguyen Quang Trung were honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Executive Committee of Hanoi City Student Association for their outstanding achievements in the student movement and Union and Association activities in 2009. Also on this occasion, the Team elected a new term Team Leadership Board of 05 comrades with comrade Nguyen Manh Linh (Class 52 History) as Team Leader.
