A last-minute surprise.
In the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 120th anniversary of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the student unions of the Department of Political Science, the Faculty of Management Science, the Faculty of Philosophy, and the Faculty of Law and Public Administration jointly organized the "Understanding Ho Chi Minh's Thought" competition on the evening of May 18, 2010.Like many other competitions, the knowledge test was a fierce race between teams, from vying for the right to answer questions to accurately demonstrating their understanding of the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. Conversely, the talent test was an opportunity for teams to surprise the judges and audience with storytelling, drama, and dance performances. Ultimately, the Philosophy Department team unexpectedly won first place. Despite achieving the highest scores in the first two rounds, the Archival Studies and Office Administration Department teams only won second place; the Political Science and Management Science teams shared third place.

The competition serves as a profound expression of gratitude from the youth and intellect of the four student union branches in particular, and the youth of the university in general, to President Ho Chi Minh. It also provides an opportunity for students and youth union members to interact, learn, and review their "study" process, demonstrating their actions in "following" the moral example of the President.
