Introduction to Sociology

It can be said that the primary wisdom of sociology is that things are not as they seem.” + American Sociological Association: “Formal training in sociology can be a valuable asset for entering a wide range of professions.” The Department of Sociology, established in 1991 (19 years ago), is one of the first and largest sociology departments in the country. The goal is to train human resources with high-level sociological skills and the ability to effectively apply them in explaining, analyzing, and solving social problems; possessing good moral character, strong political convictions and professional ethics; a sense of service to the nation and its people; and good health and social communication skills to meet the requirements of the country's industrialization and modernization process.
