During the meeting, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The university currently has 17 faculties and institutes, 32 undergraduate programs, over 40 master's programs, and more than 30 doctoral programs. The Vice-Rector shared experiences in training, scientific research, and quality assurance activities of the university, and expressed the desire for both sides to soon conduct cooperation activities in areas of common interest.

In response, Dr. Tran Thi Hoa expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and shared information about the activities of Thai Binh University. Based on this, Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong (Director of the Admissions and Job Placement Center of Thai Binh University) expressed his desire to cooperate and collaborate with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in training in the fields of social work, public relations, office management, and library information to cultivate, standardize, and improve the quality of human resources in the province.

In response to Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong's request, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan stated that the University is very willing to assist Thai Binh University in collaborative training. Specifically, the two sides can apply distance learning methods based on online teaching and learning platforms that the University has effectively implemented in the past. In addition, Associate Professor Bui Thanh Nam (Head of Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities) also proposed that the two sides develop a collaborative training program and issue Vietnamese language proficiency certificates to support improving the quality of foreign labor in industrial zones in Thai Binh province.

Thai Binh University was established by Decision No. 1555/QD-TTg dated September 8, 2011, of the Prime Minister, based on the upgrading of Thai Binh College of Economics and Technology. The university is under the direct management of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee and is supervised in terms of training by the Ministry of Education and Training. Currently, the university offers 9 undergraduate programs including Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, etc., and 17 professional college programs including Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking, etc. As of early 2020, the total number of students in the university exceeded 3,500, with modern facilities and employment links with many large enterprises nationwide.
