Job announcement for contract workers in 2023

In accordance with the 2023-2024 academic year plan and considering the staffing needs of various units, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the recruitment of contract workers for the following positions: Teachers at the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities; Lecturers and Specialists in 2023, specifically as follows:
 

1. Conditions for applying for contract employment

1.1. Individuals who meet the following conditions
- Must be a Vietnamese worker and resident in Vietnam;
- Within the legally prescribed working age;
- I have an application form;
- Has a clean record;
- Possess diplomas and certificates of training that are relevant to the job position;
- Having sufficient health to perform the job or task;
- Meeting other conditions that do not contradict legal regulations as required by the job position.
1.2. The following individuals are not eligible to apply for contract employment.
- Loss of or limitation of civil capacity;
- Currently under criminal investigation; serving a sentence or complying with a criminal judgment or decision of the Court; or subject to administrative measures such as placement in a treatment facility, educational institution, or reformatory.

3. Standards regarding foreign language proficiency, computer skills, and other job requirements.

TT Standard For the professional title of specialist
and equivalents
For the professional title of lecturer, teacher
1 Foreign language proficiency, Computer skills Proficiency in information technology and foreign languages ​​is required for the position. Possesses the ability to apply information technology and proficiently use foreign languages ​​to support teaching and scientific research.
2 Other requirements regarding professional title standards   - For Lecturers:
+ Possesses scientific research capability: is the sole author or the first author (for journals that do not list authors alphabetically) of an article published in a specialized scientific journal with a standard ISSN or a book chapter published by a publisher with a standard ISBN.
+ Must possess a training certificate meeting the professional standards for university lecturers, or must commit to obtaining such a certificate within one year of signing the employment contract.
- For Teachers:
+ Possess a training certificate according to the professional title standards for high school teachers, Grade III.
Alternatively, you must commit to obtaining the certificate within one year of signing the employment contract.
+ Priority will be given to: Excellent teachers at the provincial/city level; Candidates with teaching experience at specialized high schools; Candidates with a Master's degree or higher in the relevant field for the position; Candidates who have won awards at the national-level excellent student competition.

5. Deadline and location for receiving applications

- Curriculum vitae (with a 4x6 size photo attached) certified by a competent authority (valid for 6 months from the date of application) according to;
- Certified copies of diplomas, transcripts, and certificates related to the required specialization. Diplomas and certificates issued by foreign educational institutions must be translated into Vietnamese and notarized. Diplomas issued by foreign educational institutions must include a notarized copy of the Diploma Recognition Certificate from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training;
- A notarized copy of the birth certificate;
- A health certificate issued by a competent health authority (valid for 6 months from the date of application);
- Documents and records proving work experience (certificate of seniority, copy of employment contract or work agreement, social insurance book, etc.) (if any).
- Scientific profile according toForm 02The journal's ISSN is clearly stated for articles published in specialized scientific journals; the publisher's ISBN is stated for textbook chapters or monographs published, with confirmation from the employing institution. (For candidates applying for lecturer positions)
Note:
Applicants are responsible for the legal validity of their diplomas and certificates. If, after the recruitment results are announced, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities discovers that an applicant has used a diploma or certificate that does not comply with regulations, the University will issue a decision to cancel the recruitment results. Submitted documents will not be returned.

6. Form, content, time, and location of the selection process.

6.1. Method of recruiting contract workers: Selection based on qualifications.
6.2. Selection criteria:
* Round 1 (common to all candidates): Check the eligibility requirements on the application form according to the requirements of the job position being recruited. If the conditions are met, the candidate will proceed to Round 2.
* Round 2: Professional skills and expertise
a. Format: Interview
b. Interview content: Common to all positions applied for
* General knowledge: Relevant regulations as required by the job position being recruited for, and understanding of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
* Assessment of foreign language proficiency in the professional field (as requested by the applicant).
* Assess the applicant's ability to apply information technology in performing the tasks of the position being applied for.
* Professional knowledge:
+ For lecturers and teachers:
Content and format: Candidates will conduct a practical teaching session (one lesson) and participate in a professional interview, answering questions directly from the panel.
+ For the remaining positions: Interviews will assess job handling skills and practical situations related to the position.
c. Interview scores are calculated on a 100-point scale.
d. Time: 30 minutes for the interview format;
