Agreement Scholarship in China for the 2009-2010 academic year

Notice No. 156/TB-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training dated March 17, 2009 on enrollment to study under the Agreement in China for the 2009-2010 school year.

Number of scholarships and scholarship regime

There are a total of 57 full scholarships for Vietnam, including 10 Chinese language internship scholarships (for Chinese language lecturers at universities), 10 undergraduate scholarships, 10 master's scholarships and 27 doctoral scholarships.

Candidates accepted under this scholarship program will be granted a scholarship by the Chinese Government, free training, and accommodation on campus of the training facility; the Vietnamese Government will provide a round-trip air ticket and a monthly living allowance according to the current regulations of the State.

School time

Successful candidates will attend school during the 2009-2010 school year, expected to arrive in September and October 2009.

Training period (academic years): Chinese language internship: 01 year; University: 04-05 years; Master: 02-03 years; and Doctorate: 03-04 years.

Deadline for receiving applications

- Vietnamese documents for preliminary selection: before April 10, 2009.

- Chinese or English documents for negotiation: before April 22, 2009.
