The Ministry of Education and Training issued Announcement No. 254/TB-BGDĐT on May 21, 2010, regarding the recruitment of students to study at universities in the Russian Federation under the debt settlement scholarship program in 2010.A total of 150 undergraduate scholarships are available. These full scholarships are awarded by the Vietnamese Government according to current regulations, covering tuition fees, living expenses, health insurance, and a one-way and return air ticket. Funding is provided annually. The Russian educational institution will cover the student's living expenses and health insurance according to current Vietnamese government regulations. Successful applicants are expected to begin their studies in September 2010. The study period in the Russian Federation includes one year of Russian language preparatory studies and a full undergraduate degree, with a minimum duration of four years.
