VNU's online registration portal for competence assesstment test officially opened on March 2nd, 2016

From 8:00 am, March 2, 2016, candidates can register online for the competence assessment test to qualify for VNU Admission 1 at the address http://cet.vnu.edu.vn/dang-ky-du-thi-truc-tuyen. The registration can be done either from 02/03/2016 to 22/03/2016 or from 05/08/2016 to 15/08/2016.

Rinfo – Festival on the right to access information

This was the largest event that wrapped up a series of activities of the project “Strengthening the knowledge and participation of youngsters in promoting access to information in Vietnam” held by Faculty of Information and Library Science, USSH, and Center for Education Promotion and Empowerment of Women (CEPEW Vietnam) under the sponsorship of Canadian Foundation. Rinfo was held on February 27th, 2016 at USSH.

On February 16th, 2016, the Institute for Policy and Management (IPAM), USSH signed contracts with the Committee of Project Management, Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) to implement the package “Developing a strategy for pre-incubation and incubation of technology businesses in the period of 2015-2025".

On January 18th 2016, University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the Ceremony to announce the appointment of New Rector for the term 2016-2020. A united region: The ASEAN Community 2015

Bangkok, Thailand hosted on 8 August 1967 the Heads of State/Government of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, who established ASEAN through the ASEAN (Bangkok) Declaration. For these five Southeast Asian Leaders, the creation of ASEAN was the institutionalization of the ties that bound these nation-states. The five countries, aside from sharing geography, share the ties of history, culture and mutual interests, and similar challenges and problems. Given all of these, the Leaders (as heads of states/governments are called in ASEAN) found it fitting to coalesce and share in the responsibility of strengthening the economic and social stability of the region, hence the decision to institutionalize cooperation through the creation of a regional organization.

More than 300 new Doctors and Masters receive their degrees

On December 25th, University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a degree granting ceremony for 45 research fellows and 291 masters at the 8th floor of Block E. The ceremony was successfully and formally conducted.

Talk on Korean business culture

On December 12th, Mr. Ryu Hang Ha (President of the Korea International Trade Association) had a talk with the students of the Division of Korean Studies, USSH.
