Training missions

The School of Journalism and Communication (SJC) is the only unit in Vietnam that trains both Journalism and Public Relations.

Its curriculla are designed to ensure output standards, and training modules are constructed according to social demands. SJC is the first journalism trainer in Vietnam that applies the credit-based system, allowing students to actively complete their subjects, manage their study processes and graduate at an early time.

What makes SJC different is during their study, students are equipped with comprehensive professional skills with different types of media (print newspaper, radio, television, e-newspaper, PR, and press advertisement), facilitating job opportunities upon graduation. This model has therefore been adopted by many other domestic institutions.

Theory is currently increasingly combined with practice so  the School can transfer students and credits within a network of five other big regional institutions training journalism.
