In this assessment survey, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) conducted an external assessment of 03 master's level training programs (Political Science, Management Science, Journalism and Media Management) and 03 undergraduate level training programs (Southeast Asian Studies, Japanese Studies, Han Nom).

On March 12, 2025, the education organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the results of the rankings of 55 fields in 05 groups of fields of 1,747 higher education institutions with about 21,000 training programs. In which, for the first time, the field of Sociology of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi ranked 301 - 375 in the world.

This is the content emphasized at the Seminar on Training - Exchange of experiences in evaluating the quality of training programs held on the morning of February 20, 2025 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH).

Improving and enhancing training quality not only serves the purpose of certifying training programs but most importantly, brings the best values ​​to learners.

Three quality-accredited university-level training programs include Information Management, Information - Library, and Tourism and Travel Services Management.

The direct assessment by the Evaluation Team according to the AUN-QA standards was conducted from October 31 to November 2, 2023 for 04 training programs, including 03 bachelor's programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) in Sociology, Psychology and International Studies and 01 bachelor's program in Nuclear Engineering Technology of the University of Natural Sciences. On November 2, the closing ceremony took place at the 8th floor Hall of Building E of VNU-USSH.
