University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

During this evaluation survey, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) conducted an external evaluation of 3 master's degree programs (Political Science, Management Science, and Journalism and Media Management) and 3 undergraduate programs (Southeast Asian Studies, Japanese Studies, and Sino-Vietnamese Studies).

On March 12, 2025, the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) educational organization announced the results of its ranking of 55 fields across 5 groups of 1,747 higher education institutions with approximately 21,000 training programs. For the first time, the Sociology field of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was ranked 301-375 globally.

This was the key point emphasized at the Training and Experience Exchange Workshop on Evaluating the Quality of Training Programs, held on the morning of February 20, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

Improving and enhancing the quality of training not only serves the purpose of accrediting training programs, but most importantly, it aims to deliver the best value to learners.

Three accredited undergraduate training programs include Information Management, Information and Library Science, and Tourism and Travel Service Management.

The on-site evaluation by the AUN-QA Accreditation Team was conducted from October 31st to November 2nd, 2023, for four training programs. These included three undergraduate programs from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH): Sociology, Psychology, and International Studies, and one undergraduate program in Nuclear Engineering Technology from the University of Science. The closing ceremony took place on November 2nd in the auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E at VNU-USSH.
