During this evaluation survey, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) conducted an external evaluation of 3 master's degree programs (Political Science, Management Science, and Journalism and Media Management) and 3 undergraduate programs (Southeast Asian Studies, Japanese Studies, and Sino-Vietnamese Studies).
At the opening ceremony held this morning, March 18, 2025, representatives from the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation - the unit conducting the preliminary external evaluation survey - announced the Decision to establish an external evaluation team for 3 undergraduate and 3 master's degree programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and introduced the members of the external evaluation team.
Accordingly, the external evaluation team consists of experienced experts in various fields, from numerous universities across the country, aiming to contribute the best professional opinions to the assessment of the current status of the school's compliance with quality standards, and to recommend improvements to enhance the quality of training. Prior to this, the team members spent over a month studying documents, records, and evidence; visiting facilities, libraries, laboratories, and information technology systems used in the school's training and research activities.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, expressed his confidence that the external evaluation team would provide quality assessment results to advise the university on ensuring the quality of education.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasized that a culture of quality assurance is a decisive factor in determining the university's position and reputation in training and research. The university has implemented quality assurance measures early on, with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities being the first university to establish a Quality Assurance Center. To date, all undergraduate programs at the university have met the requirements and have been accredited domestically and internationally.

The official survey to assess the quality of training programs is scheduled to take place from March 18th to March 22nd, 2025.
