In this assessment survey, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) conducted an external assessment of 03 master's level training programs (Political Science, Management Science, Journalism and Media Management) and 03 undergraduate level training programs (Southeast Asian Studies, Japanese Studies, Han Nom).
At the opening ceremony held this morning, March 18, 2025, a representative of the Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center - the unit conducting the preliminary external assessment survey - announced the Decision to establish an external assessment team for 03 undergraduate training programs and 03 master's training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and introduced the members of the external assessment team.
Accordingly, the external evaluation team members include experts with extensive experience in various fields, from many universities across the country, to contribute the best professional opinions to the assessment of the current status of meeting quality standards, recommending improvements, and enhancing the training quality of the school. Previously, the team members spent more than 01 month studying documents, records, evidence; visiting facilities, libraries, practice rooms, information technology systems, etc. serving the training and research activities of the school.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities expressed his belief that the external assessment team will have quality assessment results to advise the school in ensuring educational quality.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities emphasized that the culture of quality assurance is a decisive factor in the position and reputation of the school in training and research. The work of quality assurance has been implemented early by the school, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the first university to establish a Quality Assurance Center. Up to now, all of the university's undergraduate training programs have met the requirements and have been accredited domestically and internationally.
