All students of VNU have the opportunity to study for a double degree at member faculties and universities such as: University of Economics, University of Foreign Languages, University of Education, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, International Faculty, Faculty of Law.
With the advantage of having more than 100 standard, high-quality, advanced, talented undergraduate training programs in many fields such as Economics, Banking and Finance, Foreign Languages, Law, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technology, Medicine - Pharmacy and Education. VNU is the training unit with the second largest number of training programs for students among universities in Vietnam today.
VNU leaders said that students studying for a dual degree have many advantages, including being able to study a second major, especially for students who do not pass their first choice in their favorite major, now they have the opportunity to realize it; have more interdisciplinary thinking thanks to more knowledge and theoretical systems; access to many training professions; receive two regular bachelor's degrees almost at the same time of graduation.

For example, the University of Economics has 4 dual degree programs: Finance - Banking for students majoring in economics and development economics; International economics, finance - banking for students of the University of Foreign Languages; Development economics for students of the University of Natural Sciences.

The University of Foreign Languages is recruiting candidates for the dual degree program in English language, targeting students from the University of Economics, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Law and full-time students outside the Faculty of English Pedagogy of the university.
Students studying Law combined with a double degree in Economics, with the strong development of businesses and the economic trade process in the integration period will create great challenges in business, especially issues related to economic law.

New in 2020, the University of Education has expanded its dual degree programs for students. In addition to the majors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Foreign Languages, this year students will be able to study dual degrees in the following majors: Business Administration, International Economics, Development Economics of the University of Economics; Information Technology (University of Technology); Law (Faculty of Law).
The demand for human resources in the Law industry with an understanding of economics will increase, opening up many development opportunities for young people pursuing this field of study. Studying Law combined with a double degree in Economics will be a smart choice for young people to have a clearer direction for their future.

In the era of market economic integration, foreign languages are an important key in personal development as well as business organizations. Students studying foreign languages can combine with a double degree in Economics because large corporations are thirsty for human resources who are good at foreign languages and have solid expertise.
However, students should note that studying for a dual degree is both an opportunity and a challenge. Studying for a dual degree requires students to be highly focused, really try hard, and work hard. From there, students will be trained in the ability to think sharply, manage and arrange time reasonably, work effectively, and withstand pressure. That is the foundation for students to practice and improve themselves before stepping out of the university gate.
SECOND DEGREE PROGRAMS (DUAL DEGREE) FOR FULL-TIME STUDENTS UNIVERSITY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES
After the first year, full-time students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities can register to study one of the following second training programs:
- 2nd training programs in the school: Journalism, Management Science, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Office Management, International Studies, Psychology.
- Second training programs at University of Foreign Languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese

Students graduating from the second training program are awarded a regular university degree. |
