TV MC skills training course

Center for Journalism and Media Profession (CMP) announces the organization of a training course on TV MC skills.

I. Objectives of the training course

- Train to master the basic skills of a TV MC. - Those who complete the training course can become a TV MC. - Discover the factors participating in the reality TV show FIDING MJK!

III. Who is the trainer?

- Journalist, Master Nguyen Cao Cuong. - Journalist, Deputy Director of VTC10 Le Hoang Anh. - Journalist, MC Quang Minh. - Journalist MC Ka Ki Vong. - Makeup artist Hong Van. - Runner-up of Miss Sports 2007 Pham Tam Thanh.

IV. Training program

- Overview of MC and TV MC. - General requirements for a good MC. - Voiceover reading skills. - Stage performance skills/ Expressive art - MC's narration. - Stage style/ Body language. - Coordination method/ Double hosting/ Multi-point hosting. - Autocue reading. - Studio recording.

V. Reality TV Show FIDING MJK!

The 2012 Vietnam MC Talent Search Project FIDING MJK! is an Independent project founded by CMP and sponsored by GLOBAL PRO Vietnam International Communication and Cooperation Services Joint Stock Company.Project objectives1. Recognize the role and contribution of the TV presenters in Vietnam. Arouse, nurture and promote the contribution of famous individual presenters in Vietnam to the overall development of the television industry and the growth of the TV presenters in Vietnam. 2. Train, foster and coach skills for TV presenters for individuals with a passion for TV presenters and TV presenters at TV stations across the country. Build a community of professional TV presenters to increase opportunities for exchange, communication, skill development and career development of TV presenters. 3. Increase job access opportunities for students, young people, and those who are passionate about TV presenters in particular and presenters in general.Project components1. Training component. 2. Game-show component Searching for Vietnam MC talent: FIDING MJK!!! 3. Conference and seminar component to raise community awareness of the role, position and contributions of MC activities and MCs in Vietnam.Project execution sequence1. Candidates are trained in TV MC skills training courses organized by CMP, filmed and edited into episodes of a reality TV show called FIDING MJK! 2. There are 10 skill training sessions for candidates, after two overview sessions, candidates will enter specialized skill training sessions. From here, after each session, candidates will have to choose to vote to gradually eliminate unsuitable candidates. From the 3rd to the 7th session, each session will have 1 candidate eliminated. From the 8th to the 10th session, the remaining 4 candidates will be trained in depth and will be decided by a panel of 3 experts. 3. The selected person will join the 9 previously selected people to participate in a special training course, film the entire program to build a reality TV show, broadcast on the pay TV system. 4. The three best candidates of this final round will have to sign an exclusive exploitation contract with CMP for 1 year.

VI. What should candidates do?

- Read carefully the contents of this program. - Consider and decide to participate in the program. - Time for considering and deciding: 1 week. - Sign a memorandum of participation in the program with CMP.

VII. Note

Candidates who are eliminated from the 3rd session can still continue to participate in the training course but will be assigned to another class, not in the same system of the reality TV show FIDING MJK!
