To assist students who wish to take the EPS and KLPT exams (Korean language proficiency certificates for those seeking employment in Korea, both for general laborers and those with qualifications) scheduled for October 2008, the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and International Educational Exchange Promotion of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the opening of Korean language classes for beginners and exam preparation classes for those who already know Korean.

The KLPT certificate is issued by the Korean Language Proficiency Certification Committee (of Korea) in collaboration with the Center for Overseas Labor Management, Department of Overseas Labor Management, as announced by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam.

The EPS and KLPT Korean language proficiency tests assess the level and ability to communicate in everyday life and at work. Candidates must take two sections: reading comprehension and listening comprehension.

Students who enroll in Korean language courses with the Center have the following advantages:

• Study using the standard KLPT curriculum.Practice for the exam using the 2000 sample questions and exam formats of the Korean Language Association (the organization that administers the Korean language proficiency test for foreigners);
