- Can you tell us how the test preparation process is carried out?

Exam construction is relatively difficult, how to achieve the goal of comprehensively assessing candidates' abilities.

The test preparation process took place in four phases, at different locations, and was kept confidential according to the requirements of a national entrance exam.

- What is the structure of the exam, sir?

The exam structure consists of 180 questions including the following content sections: Part 1 includes 50 questions for mathematics knowledge (quantitative thinking) and Part 2 includes 50 questions for literature knowledge (qualitative thinking). In the optional section, candidates can choose 1 of 2 components: Natural Science knowledge (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Science knowledge (History, Geography, Civic Education), each component includes 40 questions.

Candidates will take the test in 195 minutes to assess their abilities, including knowledge in high school textbooks and content focusing mainly on the curriculum in grade 12 textbooks.

The exam guides students to study comprehensively and practically, avoiding rote learning and biased learning. Students need to have practical knowledge, not riddles.

- What is the purpose of the competency assessment test, sir?

The purpose of the exam is to assess the suitability of candidates for the fields of study they have chosen: humanities, natural sciences, technology... and whether they are suitable for talented, advanced, high-quality, international standard training programs or not.

All students can solve the test at different levels. The math section requires more concentration due to the time limit for each question. Some questions can be answered right away, while others require careful thought.

The resolution of the exam results meets the goal of classifying students, promoting students' aptitude for natural knowledge, society, foreign languages, and humanities.

- How did the test run through the first test session, sir?

Based on initial feedback from candidates and information from admissions boards, the test is suitable for classifying candidates. All candidates can do the test at different levels, demonstrating their abilities in different knowledge groups.

Good students can finish the test earlier than the set time. Those are the initial signs of success for us who make the test.
