- Establish the theoretical basis of questions and answers as well as their role in teaching Vietnamese in general and teaching Vietnamese to foreigners in particular.
- Clarifying the structural characteristics and distribution of legitimate questions and responses in teaching Vietnamese to foreigners.
- Clarifying the situation of using legitimate questions and responses in teaching Vietnamese to foreigners from a communication perspective including three factors: (1) communication activities; (2) Communication purposes; (3) Communication subjects.
- Provide comments and suggestions on the use of formal questions and responses in Vietnamese language teaching textbooks for foreigners and in classroom teaching activities at basic, intermediate and advanced levels from a communicative perspective.
12. Practical application:
The topic has high practical applicability. The research results of the thesis will help in using legitimate questions and answers more suitable to the level, purpose of teaching and learning in Vietnamese teaching activities for foreigners from a communicative perspective. In addition, the research results of the thesis will also help in compiling textbooks for teaching Vietnamese to foreigners from a communicative perspective at basic, intermediate and advanced levels.
13. Further research directions:
Research on informal questions in Vietnamese language teaching activities for foreigners from a communicative perspective at basic, intermediate and advanced levels aims to provide a more comprehensive view of Vietnamese questions in Vietnamese language teaching activities (book compilation and Vietnamese language teaching activities) from a communicative perspective.

- Clarify the use of true questions and responses in teaching Vietnamese to foreigners from a communicative perspective, including three factors (1) Communicative activities; (2) Communicative purposes; (3) Communicative subjects.
- Provide comments and suggestions on the use of true questions and responses in Vietnamese language teaching textbooks for foreigners and in classroom teaching activities at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels from a communicative perspective.

13. Further research directions:
Research on rhetorical questions in teaching Vietnamese to foreigners from a communicative perspective at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels aims to provide a more comprehensive view of Vietnamese questions in Vietnamese teaching activities (textbook compilation and Vietnamese teaching activities) from a communicative perspective.
