- The thesis systematically reconstructs the process of Hai Phong City Party Committee leading the agricultural economy from 1996 to 2010, analyzes the successes and limitations of the Party Committee in determining the direction, proposing solutions and organizing implementation to develop the agricultural economy.

- The thesis contributes to providing more scientific bases, summarizing experiences, helping the Party Committee and Party committees at all levels, People's Committees and departments, branches and sectors in the city have more reference materials in the process of summarizing practices to build plans for agricultural economic development in the coming time.

11. Practical application:

The thesis can be used as a reference document in researching and compiling the history of the Party Committee; the history of the agricultural sector of Hai Phong city as well as helping graduate students when researching this type of topic.

- The thesis contributes to provide the scientific basis, summed up the experience, help the Party and Committees, People's Committee and the departments and agencies in the city with more reference sources in the total practice the plan to build the plan for economic development of agriculture in the next period.
