10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
Through a survey of 1147 Zhuang-origin place names in Chongzuo City (China), this thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the origin, meaning, structure, cultural characteristics, and naming conventions of Zhuang place names. The thesis delves into analyzing three structural models of Zhuang place names, describes 51 common elements in Zhuang place names, establishes syntactic relationships in the structure of Zhuang place names, and explores issues related to the semantic characteristics of Zhuang-origin place names in Chongzuo City. The thesis also classifies and describes Zhuang place names according to three naming methods: descriptive naming; narrative naming; and suggestive naming.
Based on the survey results of Zhuang place names in Chongzuo City (China), this thesis compares them with 375 Tay-Nung place names of origin in Lang Son province, Vietnam. The comparison shows that the basic structure and meaning of the place name systems are similar. However, due to linguistic contact with different host languages, place names in the two regions have undergone different transformations. Through this comparison, the thesis explains the reasons for the formation of these place names, their transformations, and outlines the relationship between place names and the cultural history of the Zhuang people of China and the Tay-Nung people of Vietnam.
11. Practical applications:
This study contributes to the research on Tay Choang place names and the cultural origins of the Thai-Kadai ethnic groups in general. The research will provide data to systematize theoretical issues related to place names and toponymy in Vietnam and China, as well as in the region. The research results will be a valuable source of data contributing to clarifying the geo-cultural picture of the region and its application in map-making, place name standardization, etc.
12. Future research directions:
Continuing to delve deeper into the study and survey of Zhuang place names from the perspective of linguistic and cultural contact in relation to place names in the areas of ethnic groups belonging to the Tai-Kadai language family in the region will be our next research direction in the future.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
By examining the 1,147 geographical names of the Zhuang in Chong Zuo (Guangxi-China), the subject has shown an overall picture of the origins, meanings, compositions, cultural characteristics, and the way of identifying Zhuang's place names. The thesis semantically analyzes the three components of Zhuang's place names, describing 51 common elements in Zhuang's place names, establishing a syntactical relationship in Zhuang's place names identity structure, and searching for issues related to features of the geographical names of the Zhuang in the city of Chong Zuo. Three groups of identification methods were used in classifying and describing Zhuang's place names: identification by description, identification by narrative, and identification by spiritual sustenance.
Based on the survey results of the geographical names of the Zhuang in Chong Zuo (Guangxi-China), the thesis has conducted a comparative study with 375 geographical names of Tay Nung Lang Son Province, Vietnam. The comparison shows that the structure and content of the meaning of the place system is essentially the same. In addition, because of the linguistic contact with different subject languages, the place names in the two regions have varied in different directions. By comparison, the thesis explains the causes of these geographical names and the trend of their transformations, as well as outlines the relationship between the geographical names and the cultural history of the Zhuang ethnic group in China and the Tay Nung ethnic group in Vietnam.
11. Practical applicability:
On this basis, it contributes to the study of Tay Zhuang and the origin of Thai-Ka dai ethnic groups in general. The study will provide data to systematize the theoretical issues related to geographical names and topology study in Vietnam and China, as well as in the region. Research results will be a valuable source to contribute to the clarification of the geo-cultural landscape of the area and apply to further work on maps, by standardizing place names.
12. Further research directions:
The thesis initially examines the geographical names of Zhuang from the perspective of linguistic contact and cultural exposure. This is a difficult but exciting issue, and will be a part of my future study.
