11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
Through survey and research, the author found that although the institutional issue of the archives industry has been mentioned in a number of research works, there has been no in-depth research on the institutional use of archival documents. Therefore, the thesis has solved the following objectives:
- Continue to clarify the concepts and terms of the institution of using archival documents and perfect the institution, in which deeply analyze the concepts of the structure of the institution in general and the use of archival documents in particular; compare and clarify the differences between the institution and policy with the system of legal documents on the use of archival documents. This is the first work to conduct in-depth research on the institution of using archival documents in Vietnam, so the results of the thesis contribute to supplementing the theoretical basis for promulgating and organizing the implementation of the institution of archival documents in general, the institution of using archival documents in particular for the theoretical system of Archival Studies in Vietnam.
- Through a practical survey, the author has made some comments and assessments on the advantages and limitations in organizing the promulgation and implementation of institutions for the use of archival documents in Vietnam.
- The thesis also points out the limitations in organizing the implementation of the institution of using archival documents, and the causes of the limitations.
- Propose solutions to improve the institution of archival work in general and the use of archival documents in particular.
12. Practical application:
The research results of the Thesis can serve as a basis and reference for state management agencies on document and archive work such as the Ministry of Home Affairs, the State Records and Archives Department in advising the Government to issue and complete documents regulating the use of archival documents.
13. Further research directions:
Based on the research results of the thesis, the author finds that the research on the archival institution in general still has many gaps, because the institution is very broad and complex. The author's thesis has only studied one aspect of perfecting the archival institution, which is perfecting the institution of using archival documents. Therefore, according to the author, along with this thesis, there are still many further research directions in the future:
- One is the institution of using archival documents in the network environment.
- Second, the international cooperation mechanism between archives of countries on the use of archival documents.
- Third, policies on the use of specialized archival documents to promote the value of archival documents.
- Fourth, build and complete the state archive database to serve the needs of using archives.

Therefore, according to the author, along with this thesis, in the coming time, there are still many directions for further research:
- First, the institutional frameworks for the use of documents stored in the cyberspace.
- Second, the mechanism of international cooperation between national archives from different countries on the use of archival materials
- Third, policies for the use of specialized archival materials in order to promote the value of archival materials.
- Fourth, to build and complete state archival databases to serve the needs of using archival materials.
