- In terms of theoretical basis: This is the first work to decipher the characteristics of a temple - Long Tien Temple - in a region heavily influenced by the Truc Lam Zen sect and maritime culture, from the perspective of Vietnamese studies.
- From a practical perspective: This is the first comprehensive and systematic survey of Long Tien Pagoda. Therefore, it will provide a useful source of information for the preservation, management, and promotion of cultural heritage.

This research paper clarifies the typical value of the Long Tien Pagoda relic and its distinctive religious and belief characteristics, as well as its tourism development potential in the current context. From this, it proposes solutions to preserve and promote the cultural value of the relic, and assesses its characteristics, value, and role within the regional context.
