Based on the theoretical foundations of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the documents, resolutions, and directives of the Party and State; as well as the resolutions, projects, and plans of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, the Thai Binh Provincial Military Party Committee, the People's Committee, and the Thai Binh Provincial Military Command regarding the building of militia and self-defense forces during the period 2005-2015, this thesis, from the perspective of Party history, focuses on clarifying the influencing factors, systematizing and analyzing the policies, guidance, evaluation, and summarizing the main experiences from the process of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee leading the building of militia and self-defense forces from 2005 to 2015.
11. Practical applications
The research results contribute to summarizing the process of the Party's leadership in building the militia and self-defense forces during the period of reform and international integration (through the practical experience of Thai Binh province). It also provides further arguments for improving policies and strategies for building the militia and self-defense forces in Thai Binh province in the future. The thesis can serve as a reference document for research and teaching of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the history of Thai Binh province in the future.
