11. Summary of the results of the thesis: This is the first work to fully and in-depthly research the Keo village festival from the perspective of Vietnam studies. Therefore, the thesis will provide theoretical and practical arguments for the study of Vietnam studies and also contribute to supplementing the approach of a cultural phenomenon for the research, training and management of Vietnamese traditional culture and festivals today.
12. Practical applicability: Through the case study of Keo village, Gia Lam, Hanoi, the thesis contributes to clarifying the relationship between Buddhism and indigenous beliefs, between the village temple and village culture; the mixture of Buddhism and indigenous beliefs in tradition and in contemporary Vietnamese cultural life, thereby drawing out issues in preserving and conserving national cultural identity.
