Literature: From humanistic depth to the dynamism of adaptation

The predecessor of the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature, Hanoi University – one of the units with a long tradition and a renowned reputation among literature training institutions nationwide. The Faculty aims to train a high-quality workforce at the university level with in-depth knowledge of literature and the ability to create and apply literary knowledge to various types of work in society. Following the rapidly developing global trend of applied learning, literature education is undergoing innovations such as integrating specialized fields in art, film, culture, and media. As a result, graduates from the Faculty of Literature can work in many fields and are among the top-ranked graduates of the University in terms of employment rate after graduation.
