Journalism is always a profession of particular interest to young people during university admissions seasons. The image of news editors hosting live programs on television; field reporters constantly delivering breaking news about major events both domestically and internationally; and online articles following multimedia, e-magazine, longform, and megastory trends – not only conveying profound social issues but also captivating viewers – partly reflects the appeal of a dynamic, creative, and dedicated profession that creates a powerful flow of information in social life. For many consecutive years, the Journalism program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has consistently ranked among the top 5 programs with the highest number of applications.
