- English name:Communication in the Internet Public Sphere

- Research orientation:Basic research with the potential to develop applied products for training, community communication, and policy consulting.

Defining the scope of the research:Within the framework of the Group's activities, the "Internet public space" is understood as the digital media space where social actors receive, create, discuss, debate, and disseminate information on public issues through online newspapers, social networks, digital platforms, and interactive media. The Group's research scope includes digital media, online public opinion, social discourse, digital culture, digital citizenship, policy communication, fake news, verbal violence, personal data protection, and forms of citizen participation in the Internet environment.

This orientation aligns with the training and research strengths of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, while also closely adhering to the requirements of developing social sciences and humanities in the context of digital transformation, media globalization, and the increasing influence of social media platforms on political, cultural, and social life.
