Introduction to Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, Volume 2, No. 1, 2016

In the hands of readers is volume 2, issue 1, Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, with 09 research articles, 01 book review and scientific information, with the participation of 12 authors, including 2 authors from Thailand and the United States. The articles selected in this publication are evaluated by reviewers as new research directions, or new approaches that need to be introduced to create multi-dimensional research trends in current social sciences and humanities research.

In the first article, the authorsLai Quoc Khanh and Phan Duy AnhGoing into analyzing Ho Chi Minh's philosophy from the perspective of structure, characteristics and values, the research results have shownaffirms that the value of Ho Chi Minh's political philosophy is a precious spiritual asset of the nation, which needs to be continued to be studied, inherited and developed, considering it as the basis for promoting the process of political innovation in Vietnam today. In the next article, the authorNguyen Ngoc HuongFrom observations on the development of hospital social work in the world, some directions for the development of this professional field have been proposed in accordance with the social reality of Vietnam. In the third article, the author studies social trust.Nguyen Quy ThanhFocusing on gender analysis, the author analyzed modern data in social research, thereby affirming that women in relationships are often trusted and have more social trust than men.Phan Huu Datpresents the view that it is necessary to return to the issue of South Asian culture in current social science research, especially research related to ethnicity and area studies. The fifth article in this issue ofPisit AmnuayngerntraPresenting the process of formation and development of the Vietnamese community in Thailand in general and Udonthani province in particular.

Research byTran Thanh Nam and Nguyen Thi Minh Phurefers to the aspects of attitudes, personal norms, intentions and sexting behavior through the study of college and secondary school students from a psychological perspective. This is a new research direction and has rich research content. In the aspect of the sociology of religion,Tran Thi Phuong Anhhas studied the issue of Protestantism among ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands through the relationship between interests, living context and religious beliefs, thereby providing data on the religious "belief indexes" of ethnic minorities and some implications related to religious policy in the Central Highlands. The authorTran Van KhamFrom the social experience approach, there is a view on the barriers that children with motor disabilities encounter in the learning process at school, thereby pointing out the orientations of social work support for this group of subjects. In the final research paper,Vu Anh Thumentioned China's presence in Latin America and the Caribbean. This presence is not only related to economics, but also reflects China's other ambitions to increase political influence in this region.
