This is the first article byPham Quang MinhThis study examines the evolution of Vietnam's foreign policy thinking in Southeast Asia over the past nearly three decades, emphasizing the development of Vietnam's foreign policy towards the region through the Cold War, post-Cold War, and early 21st centuries. The second study focuses on the Party and State's ethnic policy during the Doi Moi (Renovation) period.Vu Truong GiangIt has been affirmed that over three decades of reform, the ethnic policies of the Vietnamese Party and State have always been consistent within the overall strategy of socio-economic and cultural development of the country, thereby creating many positive changes in the lives of ethnic minorities.

The following article addresses specific issues in the study of adult value systems according to Schwarz's theory.Truong Thi Khanh HaEmpirical research has shown that Vietnamese people, like all other citizens, highly value the safety of their country and themselves, especially compassion, equality, and peace. However, Vietnamese people place less importance on the value of independent thinking and creativity.Tran Thanh NamIn the study of psychotherapy through case-forming modeling, a research model is outlined to apply cognitive, behavioral, and emotional therapies to treat individuals with depression. The issue of gender studies in Vietnamese universities is addressed by the author.Hoang Ba ThinhIt is mentioned and considered one of the important efforts to contribute to gender equality, although this training activity has only recently been integrated into training programs.Do Van HungIn their article, they emphasized the role of information management in the knowledge-based economy era by assessing the current state of information management training in Vietnam. This was based on research conducted in Dong Ky village.Nguyen Van SuuandChu Thu HuongThis study outlines and analyzes the spatial changes here to propose a spatial approach in anthropological studies of village transformation during industrialization and urbanization in Vietnam today.Nguyen Thu HienThis study addresses the trend of film adaptation in literary and artistic creation through a specific analysis of the film "Living" by director Zhang Yimou (China).

In the book review section,Nguyen MinhThere are comments on the publication.Selflessness - why democracy needs humanities"(Translated by Bui Thanh Chau), published by the Hoa Sen University Publishing House and Hong Duc Publishing House in 2015. This book addresses the philosophy of liberal education in relation to utilitarian education in many contemporary societies."

The publication of issue number 2 of the Journal in 2015 is a significant effort by the editorial team, a crucial and necessary investment by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and also a step towards affirming the interest of scientists in the development of the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Editorial Board would like to thank the authors who submitted articles to the Journal in the past, and thank the scientists both domestically and internationally who participated in peer review for this issue number 2. The next issue of the Journal in 2015 will be published in English, scheduled for release at the end of December 2015.

The Editorial Board is pleased to introduce the journal and looks forward to receiving feedback and contributions for its development from scientists and esteemed readers.
